'My dad can draw better than that"

The title is a quip that a boy made to his mate as they watched me make a series of sketches of the West Yorkshire town of Halifax. The drawings were made with the winter wind tearing at the pages of my sketch book. One sketch blew away and finished under the wheels of a double-decker bus. Such are the hazards of working on street corners directly from life.
