Yes, We're Different
Studio Publications comes to you from my small island in the Caribbean. For my followers far and wide, the site serves as a means of making available my work as a painter, sculptor and author. My studio and craft workshops are a family affair; with me as the creator, my son as the expert on all things related to video and computer technology, and my wife and daughters variously serving as studio assistants.
We do our best to respond to enquires the same day, that is: providing we haven’t been hit by a hurricane, our broadband cable is intact, and the island’s generator hasn’t broken down.
Yes, we’re different, but don’t let that deter you.

About the Artist
There is increasing interest in lifestyles that differ from the norm, and for eighty years my life has been in the forefront of that category. Like the Renaissance artists, necessity has made me a man of many parts: painter, sculptor, author, publisher, engineer, architect, master craftsman, sailor and adventurer. My studios have ranged from a shack alongside an idyllic cove in the Virgin Islands to a cavernous church assembly hall in the North of England. For the last twenty years my studio has been located on the lush Caribbean island of Dominica. In the 1990’s I began publishing a daily diary on the internet that followed my work in progress. My current diary pages are followed by thousands of artists and art students in over eighty countries. More recently, I have written books and produced videos about my life and work.
